VW WESTFALIA "RIVIERA" BUS CAMPER - Type 2 RARE

I recently sold my other bus and now Up for sale ismy Beautiful and mostly original 1978 VW Camper bus called a "Riviera". These buses are the same as the "Westfalia" type with the main difference being it has a full pop top camper giving much more room up top! The bus is in Great user-friendly shape and all the systems are in working order and this camper is ready for years of fun and adventure.

Camper Equipment:

• Full folding lower seat/Bed for 2 people down below
• Full double bed for 2 people up top
• Factory Sink with onboard water tank
• Factory closet & tons of under seat and overhead compartments
• Factory Jump Seat with seat belts
• 110v electrical hook up for campground electricity and interior outlets!
• Factory Ice box / fridge under sink!
• VERY cool Storage Box and ottoman
• Comes with nice 2 burner portablePropane stove

Vehicle equipment motor/trans/driver cabin:

• 2.0 liter fuel injected motor. (The best of the best for this era of bus- reliable and powerful)
• 4 speed standard transmission
• Front seats are low-back bus style with newer covers attached
• Gauges work as they should
• Stereo was upgraded to a CD player for more modern sound quality
• Have curtains (front ones not in photos as I was washing them)

Body/paint:

• The body and frame is a nice rust free example of a west coast vehicle
• There is no apparent rust, he frame, loors and around all windows are very clean.
• The bus has an older paint job- it is RED (looks a little orange in photos). The paint is attractive but when your close you can see a few chips and touched up spots. Again, he bus looks really attractive but I just want to be clear that its an older paint job with minor touch ups and blemishes.
• There is a small dent in very lower corner of sliding door. Doesn't affect opening or closing. Also there is a small dent in passenger lower door under the reflector lens- its minor and not missing paint
• All the rubber seals are in decent shape and keep water out

• This bus was bought from a localman who had driven the van all over theWest coast and in Canada.All parts are replaced with quality German parts sourced from other VW buses or from Germany.
• This bus needs nothing and is not missing anything and all systems work. The tires are in good shape

In closing, am looking to sell this bus to a good home. These buses are very fun and this specific one can certainly be used as a daily driver with occasional family fun or you can travel the globe with it. With stove, ink ice box and electrical- you can do just about anything.
