1982 VW Pickup truck 1.6 Diesel 5 speed with vege oil kit. Dark green with red interior. Pretty straight truck, very little rust for its age but it’s there. It is NOT rusty in the places that count like the shock towers, that is all good. paint has some surface rust. Glass is all good and has sliding rear window. windows roll nicely and have new handles. Very clean, all original interior. All the lights and electrical work.Thiswas not an A/C model. I have it registered as an antique and is is on the road andready to go. The brakes need work. They stop the truck right now but should be replaced soon. The body has 89,000 estimated miles on it as the odometer does not work. The new head has less than 100 miles. It has aggressive winter tires on it which have seen very few miles but are getting older now. It has a vegetable oil system installed so you can burn straight vegetable oil in it. It will use regular diesel, Biodiesel, orvegetableoil. Thevegetablesystem can be removed in 5 minutes. This is the6th VW diesel truck I haveowned and this is the one I choose to keep but now am ready to part with the best one. New battery, new head, new injection pump, new speakers. The oil (mobil 1), oil filter, and fuel filter has been changed annually. I have a fat folder full of all the receipts that I have kept from the last 12 years that I have owned it. I have never run it in the winter and kept it stored. This truck has seen very little miles year to year and is registered and ready to drive away. I will let this auction go one time and then it goes into storage for the winter.
