A beautiful fun car I purchased in 1997 in Atlanta Ga, from Bob Hilton who worked specifically on different Karmann Ghia's, hesearched for 2 years for a good one that had minimal rust. I fixed up the interior, put on a new roof and had it painted red, then moved back to STL in 1998. It was hit in 2005 in the front and refurbished back to it'soriginal look, put 11k into it. Completed by Precision Restorations in Saint Louis. I have moved to Highland IL and do not have a place to keep it anymore, it iscurrently covered and in my parents garage. Manuel 4 speed, the tail pipe system put on was to make it loudwhich I kind of liked, so I didn't change it, but can be updated to be more quiet. Drives great, it literally never breaks down, verydependable, great gas mileage, very fun, every time I drive it someone wants to buy it. There was one convertible per 50 coupes made from 1956-1974, so considered rare. You will need to come pick it up!
