You are viewing an amazing example of this 1969 Vw Karman Ghia coupe. This car was Originally sold in North Carolina and then the owner moved to California where it spent it's entire life. It was female owned since new and babied throughout its life. Always garage kept and serviced regularly .The car is 100 % Rust free and Original. You will see how amazing the under carriage is and how Original she looks. Rare auto stick transmission. So No clutch. It has 3 speeds and when you move the shifter is automatically engages into gear and your off. So easy to drive and the car has amazing power. This Karman Ghia is one to collect and it will only rise in value.
The paint is the Original color . It's baby Blue and its stunning only a few chips that were touched up but nothing major to mention. . The body is Laser straight and the paint is very glossy . The doors close with easy and all the panels line up perfectly. The chrome trim is excellent around the entire car . The bumpers are excellent as well. As stated before the under carriage is spotless and it truly looks like new. Nothing under coated or touched up. Just and amazing example throughout.
The interior is all new. It was redone 6 months ago. New Carpe, New seats and door panels and New entire dash. The headliner is Original and still perfect. The seats are super comfortable and wide. They make it very easy to drive this car on a long trip. Back seat folds down and gives you a lot of storage space. The Original Am radio comes with the car but was not put back in. I would add a Cd player under the dash and new speakers to enjoy quality sound. The car does have heat and defrost.
Mechanically she is a Gem. The engine compartment show's like new. Its very clean and nothing is altered or missing. This 1600 CC engine produces plenty of power and pushes this car to over 80 mph with ease. There is no leaks whatsoever.. The engine is Bone dry you will see this in the pictures. Most all Vw's leak this one doesn't . When driving this car with the Rare Auto Stick you will notice how easy it is. It has a low gear and 2 other higher speeds and Neutral and reverse. It's basically a Automatic but it allows you to shift it with no clutch. It lacks no performance . She pulls very hard from the Go. The suspension feels very tight and makes no noises. The steering is also very tight . New tires and brakes make this car ready to be driven anywhere.
