original paint volkswagen thing NO RESERVE

I have a very nice 1973 Volkswagen thing ive had for about 4 years now. I bought it from the original owner

I had it in dry storage for a few years before I started to work on getting it going.

I put all new brakes in new pads all around, new cylinders all around, new master cylinde, all new rubber line, new spring kit. stop as they should

I had the original 14 inch thing only rims powder coated silver there all nice and strait I also had new tires put on at same time there 185 14s with the white line out like the stock ones

the body is in really great shape for its age its also all original paint altho the drivers rear fender was resprayed in 1975 cause ofa dent but it matches well,i did a hand buff waxing to bring out the faded paint but it could use some morewaxing to fully bring back the paint.theres no rust on the body its perfect rust wise just a few little dings I pictured them all in galler, the pan is very nice with some light surface rust on top theres a tennis ball sized hole under battery also shown in pics but that's the worst of it

the top is original the back window is missing it was really sunfaded and cracked when I got so I removed it from top, I have all 4 side curtains the lexan was replaced in them but frames are original.the windshield is the original one with the sigla vw logo it has a few little rock chips but no cracks

the seats are all original as well theres a little patch on drivers bottom from a tear that original owner did in 80's

everything works lights, blinkers, windshield wiper, ive never tried to turn on the gas heater but it should work everything is there and unmolested

the 1600cc duel port motor is also the original motor to car and it runs great it has 97,300 original miles .I did a turn up plus a little more it has new cap and rotor, new point, new wires new coil and a new carb

car has a clean California pink slip in my name its also all matching numbers
