This is a good running and driving 1971 Westfalia Camper Bus. This is the best year Bay window camper in the mind of most VW enthusiasts as it has the 1600 dual port engine along with the front disc brakes. Plus it just looks cooler than the later models! This Bus runs well. The engine was just serviced and had new parts such as the Bus only exhaust installed. This Bus has mostly original paint with a few touch ups here and there. Not much rust at all. Minor patch on on the drivers floor, small pinholes on sliding door. Belly pans look good. There is some paint peeling along some of the drivers rocker and a fiberglass patch on the back of the drivers side front wheel well. It has a character marks here and there that show a full and fun life- minor dent or two and a scrape on the drivers side. It wears it's patina with pride and although some folks like their cars with shiny new paint, many others like myself enjoy a Bus like this one that shows off it's age and years of good times with pride! The interior is in very good condition. It has new seat upholstery and new poptop canvas. It still has the front cot that goes over the seat and the pullout cot over the poptop (there is a rip in the canvas), and also included is the bug net for the rear window, and even the spare tire cover. The icebox door is missing.
This Bus has a current 2019 Georgia registration. This document is used as a title in the state of Georgia and also will get you a title in states that require them for this year. It is also good for customs and export to any country. To any out of country bidders, I can provide a father/son shipping company that I highly recommend that personally take care of ground transport to port and loading of the container. I have detailed pictures and a couple of videos of the Bus running at this link...
