1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet

I bought it about a year ago from an owner in South Carolina where it had lived since new.It runs great and drives very well.
5 speed transmission shifts smoothly. Recent work includes starter,belts, tires, battery, plugs/air filter, muffler, and a complete preventative refresh of the cooling system including radiator, cooling fan, hoses,thermostat switch, coolant tank and coolant.No leaks or drips anywhere! Last owner updated the stereo system to include a removable face plate CD player with USB and Bluetooth.

Low original miles at 105K. The body is almost perfect with no dings, scratches or rust. The car has never been in an accident. No dash cracks or missing interior trim. Original owner’s manual and top boot are included. Seats were redone by a prior owner with high quality gray velour in the original style for the car. Original factory floor mats in excellent condition are included.Convertible top has some wear on the outside but is still usable. All glass is good – no cracks or chips. Rims are straight and free of curb rash.

I am only selling it because I found a one-owner 79 Super Beetle Convertible, and Bugs are my first love. Plus I only have one extra garage spot!
