This Volvo 142 came out of a climate controlled garage where it had been stored for years. It is a California car with with a blue plate and the only visible rush being a few small holes in the muffler. There is a spot below the rear right tail light assembly that looks wavy that may be rust or body damage but I have chosen not to pick at it. see photos.I have taken photos of the visible blemishes and will upload the large files.Overall the car is in remarkable condition for its age, the working odometer shows 48,466 miles. It has been painted, besides the overspray it looks smooth and the color matches the original well.the drivetrain is solid and it does not appear to have been in any accidents, I have supplied the VIN# if you wish to run a Carfax which I have not.VIN# 1426364391938Besides the crack in the front lower drivers side of the windscreen all other glass is crack free and appears to be original Volvo. The drivers side door is missing the key lock, the door still locks from the inside lock.I had new tires installed on the car and while the wheels were off I inspected the 4 disk brakes, all pads looked good except for the rear left looked like it could use a new set of pads. The interior and headliner are in great condition, the seats have a few small tears and one hole near the E-brake. See photos. The headliner has no damage. There is one 3" crack on the dash. The drivers side door panel is clean but the passenger side has a 1-2" hole in it.All electrical components work - all lights, cigarette lighter, heater blows hot, radio works though its AM only. The car runs and drives well, it takes a few minutes to warm up, sometimes you have to keep your foot on the gas pedal to keep it running when its cold, but once it warms up it drives at freeway speeds with no shakes or rattles and has plenty of power and idles well at stops. The automatic transmission shifts smooth thru all the gears. The original spare tire, jack and took kit are there though the tire does not hold air.Though the car runs and drives and stops I would advise the buyer to have the car serviced as it hasn't been driven daily in over 3 years.Being a 1973 vehicle, there is no smog check needed here in California. The title is in my name and the tags are current. This is a no reserve auction, the car goes to the high bidder.
