We have been a licensed Automobile Dealership in Philadelphia, PA. for the past eighteen years. This is an exceptionally clean and well treated 1994 Volvo 940 Wagon. This is a totally original vehicle that has not been modified in any way. The owner was from Virginia and this car has 74,171 original miles. This Volvo is clearly a vehicle was pampered by its owner, extremely very well maintained, stored inside and protected from the elements. We haven't come across a really nice 9-series in quite a few years now, especially one with low mileage like this one. The 940 models share the same platform and drivetrain of the 240 model. It is essentially an extensively upgraded 240 with the same outstanding mechanical reliability.

This vehicle has been in Virginia for its entire life, and has been regularly serviced by Fairfax Volvo in Virginia all the way up to the 67,500 Volvo recommended service. The timing belt service was completed less than a month ago at 74,121 miles, which included all of the accessory belts as well. The radio doesn't sound great but we did verify the proper operation of all power windows, door locks, seat, sunroof and mirrors. The air conditioning is cold and the climate control are also working properly.

This body of this wagon looks fabulous, and I believe all of the paint is original. It's super glossy and brilliant over the entire body and not faded anywhere. There are only a few stone chips and there aren't any dents or scratches on the body of this car. There isn't any body rust at all, and the undercarriage is very clean with most of the original Volvo undercoat still intact. I would venture to say that this 940 may never have seen a snowflake. Both of the bumpers and all of the trim pieces are in terrific condition, and there aren't any cracked or damaged light lenses. The wheels are bright and clean without any corrosion.

The interior is crisp, fresh, and super clean. All leather surfaces are soft and supple, and the carpeting is fresh and fluffy throughout. There is any damage on any of the seats or carpeting. All of the interior trim is intact, tight and in excellent condition. The dash pad and door panel tops are all in perfect condition, without any cracking, fading or warping. This vehicle was never smoked in, and there aren't any odors or smoke or otherwise in this car.

I drove this 940 over the course of two days, and it performs beautifully. The engine is very strong and smooth, and the transmission shifts perfectly. There aren't any driveline noises or problems. The matching set of Michelin tires are showing lots or tread, and the brake pads are in excellent condition. The oil & filters were replaced last week. There aren't any warning lights on, and this 940 is ready to be picked up and without to use without the need for any service.

The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage history, and we have the clean, clear title in hand. One would be extremely hard pressed to find the equivalent of this Volvo at any price. This is a really magnificent 940 Wagon that I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive anywhere.

PAYMENT:

A 10% deposit (minimum $500) is due 24 hours of auction completion. We accept Paypal for the deposit only. The balance is due within seven days. Pickup of the vehicle is within ten days of auction completion.

The acceptable methods of payment are Bank Wire Transfer, Certified Bank Check, Direct Deposit or Cash in person. We do not offer financing. Deposit down payments are non refundable. We do not accept trade ins. Any guarantee offer for this vehicle will be voided if payments are not made according to terms.

WARRANTY:

This vehicle will be sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied by the seller. However, the buyer will be offered the option to purchase an additional Extended Service Warranty for all applicable vehicles.

The title is guaranteed to be free and clear. There will be no liens or encumbrances on the title. The stated odometer reading is within +/- 500 miles.

PICK-UP:

Please check with us before scheduling your vehicle pickup.We are not a retail dealership, so it is very important to coordinate your arrival with us before finalizing your plans. We are available from 8AM to 3PM weekdays, and are closed on weekends.

We are approximately 15-minutes from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station, and the Greyhound Philadelphia Bus Station. We may be able to pick you up at any of these terminals, so please inquire if interested.

REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES:

Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs.

Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $65, which will provide valid registration for a period of 60 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own.

Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer or cash in person. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received.

All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. (Storage charges will not apply to vehicles scheduled for pickup by a transporter).

We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends. We also sell vehicles locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
