1953 Willys Military Jeep M38A1 Nicely Restored F-Head 134ci Inline 4 12 Volt System 4 Wheel Drive Overdrive Many New Parts New Suspension and Shocks New Interior Looks, uns, nd Drives Great! Perfect for the Parade! Here is a classic war vehicle that will be turning heads at any parade! Pacific Motorcars presents this nicely restored 1953 Willys Jeep M38A1! These were the first curved fender Jeeps and were used by the military during the Korean war. Many of them have been salvaged over the years, herefore it has become increasingly hard to find quality war jeeps, specially in this condition. This Jeep is in great condition cosmetically and mechanically, ith stacks of ownership documentation preserved! It was very well cared for and is believed to be a 3 owner car. The body is in fantastic shape, s you can see from the photos. There have been countless hours and thousands spent bringing the Jeep up to the superb condition you see here. New and NOS parts include: new suspension, ew shocks, ew body tub, ew gauges, ew seat cushions, eat frames, ew bumperets, erry can, aid horn, ew dash, pare tire rack, eflectors, ...this list goes on. The exterior body was received in this condition, nd represents a very straight body, ith great paint. Blinkers, orn, ights, lectrical are in good working order. Brakes stop nicely! There is a small overdrive installed, hich works as it should. Speeds can get up to 50mph on a straight road with ease. The 4 Wheel Drive operates as it should with the locking hubs. Tires have about 85% tread and still have plenty of life remaining! The F-Head 134ci Inline 4 was said to have been rebuilt before we purchased it, ith approximately 5k miles on it. We cannot verify this, ut it runs very strong and fires right up. It is running off of a 12 volt system, nd operates great! You will notice it doesn't have a period correct 4 Wheel Drive system, herefore the transfer case is obstructing the cable for the E-Brake. As a result, he handbrake is not installed. There are alternatives to install it, hich will work successfully, ut we have not got around to doing so. Ultimately, his is a very nice JEEP that looks and runs great!
