Description of 1962 Willys Wagon |
Thank you for viewing our listing! We are offering for sale this beautiful 62 Willys Wagon. This Willys is a truly unique ride. Completely custom built, the car shows excellent craftsmanship throughout. It appears to be avery well maintained older build. Everything is still in excellent condition, just showing normal wear in a few areas. The paint is in excellentcondition and is nice and shiny. It does show some normal wear, light scratches and a few retouched chips as a result of the car being driven onthe road. All the trim and bumpers are either new or re-chromed. All the glass is in excellent condition, the windshield has two small rock chips.Basically this car has been driven, and is not a trailer queen. You would not feel bad about loading up the family and taking it to the beach.I was told by the previous owner that the suspension is from a Land Rover, as well as the transfer case. All the lights and signals operate as they should. The tail light lenses are shiny and clear, and appear to be new. The wagon is equipped with a trailer hitch receiver. The drive train is a smooth running 350, and auto transmission. It runs down the highway perfectly. The interior is absolutely fantastic, a light brown faux leather and matching carpet. The wagon was built for traveling in comfort, with cold A/C, heat, power front windows, and a center console that hides away the radio. The dash cluster in the center is mainly for looks,as the speedometer is not accurate and the other two gauges do not function. The functioning gauges are located above the steering column. The steering column is a Chevy tilt steering column, with a nice custom billet chrome steering wheel. The front passenger's seat folds forward for easy access to the rear seats. The back glass opens upward, and the rear access door foldsdown like a tailgate. You don't see many of these wagons, especially not as nice as this one. NOTE! eBay allows 24 pictures.
