1940 Willys Gasser Street/Show- Motor was pulled for additional performance. Everything is here to put this rare truck back together and ride. Also throwing in a Seasoned 4 bolt main BBC, Twenty Five Thousandths rough bored by Houston Engine and Balancing. It's ready to be honed to fit thirty thousandths pistons with a 4.250 stroke 4350 steel crank that is with it and the 6.385 4350 steel rods will make it 489 cubic inches All original steel pickup. Painted purple with yellow flames. Interior is gray leather with purple inserts in the seats and leather door panels, carpet is gray. This was a Gasser back in the day. Autographed by "Big" John Mazmanian and Jr. Thompson. The engine was built by Dick Landy in LA. 468 ci BBC. Forged pistons, Elderbrock aluminum heads with roller rocker Comp pushrods. It runs a large BDS roller cam and a BDS 871 Blower and scoop. Transmission is a 400 Turbo with a 3000 stall converter and shift kit. Original Frame has been fully boxed and molded and painted purple to match the body. Front end suspension is a Mustang II unit with disc brakes and tubular upper and lower control arms. The rear is an early Pontiac with positrac-411 gears- Wilwood disc brake and 31 spline axles. Many original parts. The Dash is a Dakota Digital gauge unit and large Autometer Tach. Hurst quick shift. Tilt column with Lacarra leather wheel. 6 point roll cage painted purple. I have all the last purchase history files that show this was last purchased for over $36K in 2006. This was a show car and was reported to have once been featured in a documentary.
