I am selling this truck for a friend. This truck is also being offered locally. The Strip Tripper is a 41 Willys Truck built in the late 60's. Considered by many as one of the top three Willys trucks ever built. It now has a 301 Chevy with Camel hump heads, roller rockers, steel crank. Hilborn mechanical fuel injection, was rebuilt by Don Enriquez. (It is not electronic) It has a secondary tank that is higher than the pump, which allows for easier starting. The truck has been driven on the street, freeway and raced at multiple tracks. It is licensed and registered. It has a rebuilt Vertex Mag by Don Zig. It has a turbo 350 manual shift with a 3,500 stall. Rear axle 57 Pontiac (chrome) with a posi and 488 gears. It has chrome ladder bars and a chrome front axle built by Specialty Cars. 4 piece bolted together to make one piece tilt front end. Every paint trick imaginable was employed on this truck. (Candy, Fade, Flake, etc.) It is really surprising how well the paint job has held up, considering it's about 50 years old. You really have to see it in person to appreciate it. Steve Magnante from (Barrett Jackson- Hot Rod) said, "This Willys is one of the craziest I've ever seen". This truck has extensive history, there is much written about it on the H.A.M.B. and many magazine articles.Should you have any questions, need pictures.
