1967 Datsun 2000 Roadster aka Fairlady

For auction is my numbers matching 1967 Datsun 2000 Roadster (Also called the Fairlady in Japan). If you're reading this you know there was a very limited run of low windshield 2000's in 1967 and somewhere around 650 of them were built before Datsun had to go to the high windshield and padded dash in '68. According to the roadster registry, f the original 650 built, here are only 85 remaining.

Car #48 was restored by Joe Wulffenstein in the 90's when it received all-metal bodywork and new paint - then sold and moved to Texas where I purchased it. I completed the restoration of the car this year, ut I am not going to keep it as I have another '67 (Car #275) which I am restoring next and would like to fund.

A list of the car's equipment and restoration performed:

• U20 redone last year with <500 miles on it. New timing chains and tensioners, alve job, ew seal kit installed, mproved head-gasket from Dean, ngine cleaned and specs check, and block painted the original correct color.
• New engine and transmission mounts
• Comp. aluminum oil pan
• Rebuilt 5 speed transmission with new bearing and seal kit and 2nd gear syncro.
• 44MM Solex carbs rebuilt by Dave Premo. The optimum Type IV carbs are fitted but buyer may have their choice between the OEM Type IIs or the better performing Type IVs. See photos for both types of carbs fitted.
• Polished original open-element Solex air cleaner
• Electronic ignition distributor from East Coast Roadsters
• Rechromed bumpers, rill, nd headlight rings
• Original OEM Nissan competition suspension kit (Sway bar and springs).
• KYB GR2 gas shocks
• Original correct 67 wheels
• Correct very early valve cover
• New stayfast top and top boot
• Seat frames powdercoated and new seat upholstery, /li>
• New interior kit from Dean (door panels, enter console, arcel shelf, tc)
• Original (not reproduction) dash pad in VERY good condition
• Original bias-ply spare tire
• Fuel tank and radiator cleaned by Mcarty radiator in Houston
• New brake master cylinder and caliper pistons
• Ceramic coated header with 2" exhaust with chrome megaphone tip
• GM 1-wire alternator upgrade, ut I will include the original Mitsubishi alternator
  

Sold as-is and running, riving, nd stopping great. Buyer is responsible for shipping but I will help with logistics and loading the car. Available for inspection 6-9pm weekdays and any time on the weekend. Located in Houston TX 77008 and stored in an air conditioned garage.

A set of polished original American Racing Libre wheels and Falken Azenis tires (pictured) are available and they will be included with the car if you use Buy-it-Now.
