We have decided to put our 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible up for sale since we rarely drive it anymore. Before you ask, we still have over 30 other collector cars so no, nothing is wanted in trade and if the ad is up, the car is for sale so I won't reply to canned ' is it available ' messages. This is a nice, reliable, cruising car that needs nothing. Clear Florida title in my name and I have owned the car for over 10 years. It is not a trailer queen show car but an extremely nice car you can take for drives; or to shows if that is your thing; or "cars and coffee's" or for long distance trips which is the last time I drove it. A jaunt from Naples Florida up to Buffalo NY for chicken wings at Duff's with a friend and back again last summer was the last time I had it out. Hey, that is what these cars were made for. Everything on the car has been gone through during my ownership with the most recent items being a completely redone interior and convertible top and 4 tires in the past 2 years. The paint is very shiny. The body is very straight and rust free. The interior and top look great. Then engine compartment and mechanical components are clean and work well. A basic 318 2 bbl. carb ( gas prices won't bother you ) . Manual brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, manual windows,, power convertible top and AM radio that I have never turned on once in the time I have had it. Wipers work; lights and signals work and heater and horn works ( no a/c which here in S. Florida is one of the reasons we rarely drive it anymore ) . Everything is working as of this writing . It just needs someone to drive it more than us. Roughly 75,000 miles and the car is locked in an A/C ( and yes before you ask, Hurricane proof storage unit which had zero damage from the recent hurricane ) here in Naples Florida and the car can be seen or driven with a little notice since it is half an hour from my house. I can get you more photos of something if you don't see it here. I just uploaded what I had on my computer. The car is for sale, not on sale and I am not needing to sell it. If you just want a beautiful looking collector car that you can buy and enjoy from day one this is for you . As it is a 57 year old used car it is sold as i, where is, with no warranties.
