1966 Mustang Black 1962 International Scout 80!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1962 International Sout 80 that has tens of thousand dollars of poured into it!!!!This Awesome looking Scout features a host of major upgrades and has some of the best off-road equipment fitted to it. This truck features a GM LS-1 engine with 350 horspower that gives PLENTY of power. Power Steering. Power Disc brakes. Performance built 700R4 OD Automatic transmission. full width chevy 10 bolt axles with ARB Lockers front and rear!!! All of the tasteful modern upgrades done to this truck have made this Scout immensely more drivable. capable off-road. reliable and has improved the safety of the vehicle. One look at this truck and you will realize that this Scout is not like many of the Scouts on eBay. This is something special. There is LOTS of money that has been poured into the engine and drive-train. Click to enlarge Exterior: This Scout looks great finished in its beautiful white paint finish with contrasting silver grill. The paint job on this truck is of nice driver quality standard and has been utilized off road. This is floors are solid and rust free. The Scout has a tiny bit of bubbling at the bottom of the windshield that could easily be fixed or replaced. The exterior is really set off by the great looking wheels. beautifully made custom built roof rack and roll bar. awesom lift and accompanying Ranch RS9000 adjustable shocks. There are a couple of imperfections on the outside of the truck (refer to pictures) but Overall the exterior is in great shape for an off-roader. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior has been overhauled and features brand new Corbeau Seats with full harnesses. The seats are lin excellent condition. This truck was built with the trail in mind and as such there is no carpet on the floor only a tough bed-liner type finish that really completes the rugged look of this Scout. The truck also features a center console that is lockable and can house a stereo complete or whavtever else you might want to put in. The gauges have been replaced with a much more accurate Autometer gauges dash that relays all the important information accurately and in one place. Please note there is no Speedometer. Overall the interior of this truck is in nice shape and is a great place to waste the weekend away. Click to enlarge Engine: The LS V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The engine runs beautifully and is leak free as well. The fuel injection really makes this car as reliable as a new car. It always starts and runs excellent just like a modern car. This engine has had lots of money poured into it and the car and the car runs GREAT!!! The cars transmission was upgraded to a performance built 700R4 with overdrive at the same time and built to help handle the extra power. The transmission shifts great and is in great working order. This car features power front wheel disc brakes which stops the car very well. Best of all there is no side to side pull while under braking since the truck doesn't have drum brakes on the front. The Scout also feature a dual circuit master cylinder to aid in safety as well. The power steering really makes this Scout easy to drive and much more comfortable to drive daily. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully with its power steering and the car tracks perfectly down the road. Very few Scouts for sale are as off road versatile and street-able as this one. With all of the subtle upgrades and modern brakes this car really is a blast to drive!!! All of the upgrades compliment each other and none of it takes away from the classic appeal of the car. This really is a great truck to spend time in!
