Common questions:
  • Whats with the oil tank in the trunk? It's a 911 tank made larger for more oil capacity 15+ quarts of oil. My guess is for ease of access for racing and its cheaper than a 914-6 oil tank.
  • Does it run hot with no tins? I have never seen it go over 185 even in summer 100+ heat driving in the hills.
  • Does it have rust? Every 914 has rust, ut this one is a lot less than most and is structurally strong.
  • Any electrical problems? I have not set up the license plate light yet, nd the high beams just stopped working ( probably just the relay)
  • How does it shift? No shifting issues other than the typical having to put it in 2nd and then first at a stop.
  • Any oil leaks? It has a small oil leak on the oil cooler tube. Shop said it could be repaired with a tig weld, nd doesn't leak enough to crate a puddle.
  • Does it have heat? No, t has headers.
  • Why are you selling it? To make room for a new project car. ( It's a lot of fun to drive, nd I will miss it)
