Description of 1992 Replica/Kit Makes F40

This car was built out in California. as a 4speed tranny. . 8 v6 fiero engine. uilt on a 1986 pontiac fiero. eeds paint. ust took out of storage. and my mechanic dropped the whole engine cradle and did the following. old Air intake. installed new stage 1 clutch and throwout bearing. new a/c compressor. ew water pump. ew valvecover gaskets. resh oil change. all a/c lines flushed. ew dryer and expansion valve. front tires are brand new as well as 4 wheel alignment done at sears automotive. will need new rear tires as one of them has dry rot leakage but will hold air for several days. the interior had some chrome trim on the center console part which i took off and it damaged the top part of it. easily found here. i had started to take apart the interior as i was going to upgrade it to a newer model grand am or grand prix interior. Hard to find F40 kit. just spent over 2k in servicing all of the above. needs new headliner . rear plexiglass has a small crack near the top. not very noticeable. the gas gauge is not working properly. its seems to be stuck on half way mark. also could use gas struts supports for the rear hatch. runs pretty good. have not driven it much after the service. no time to spend on it. I am selling due to a Bentley I am looking to buy so I am selling a few of my toys. I also have a testarossa koenig version I will be listing here as well. I am also selling my 2007 Z06 vette. if that sells first I will keep one or both these replicas.
