Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite, VIN # AN5L 1807. Please note that this is only a rolling tub in primer with front and rear suspension. This posting only includes what you see in the attached 12 photos. There is no engine, transmission or driveshaft, no bonnet, no doors, no bumpers, no dash and gauges, no top, no windscreen, no seats, no etc., etc. There is much surface rust on the floor panels, transmission tunnel and interior trunk pan. This car is way too nice to scrap out, but admittedly, this Bugeye Sprite is a major project car that is not for the faint of heart. It will require the skills for extensive body repairs and rework, including new floor pans, trunk pan, underside of the rear valence panel, outer rockers, and the rear fender doglegs. We carefully inspected the mounting points for the quarter-elliptic rear leaf springs on both sides of the car and these areas appear to be fairly solid and sound. You are welcome to inspect this car before the end of the auction. We are selling car with a Bill of Sale only. Please call/text us at mobile 734-263-3070 if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to see the Bugeye. Please e-mail us if you have any questions. Would someone please save this Bugeye? This is a NO RESERVE auction. On May-11-16 at 16:31:08 PDT, seller added the following information: To clarify, this car does not come with the title.
