Description of 1962 Austin Healey Sprite |
1962 Austin Healey Sprite in real nice condition, garage kept and ready to go to new home Brief history. CLEAN TITLE in my name. I purchased this car a couple of years ago with the intention of furthering along the good work that had been done before me but just can’t seem to fit it into my schedule, and I already have a Triumph spitfire and VW beetle that take up a lot of my time.
Body Description: PLEASE NOTE, I will try and describe the car to the best of my ability, but when it comes to used cars, especially CLASSICS, nothing beats seeing it yourself. This car was painted and the paint is in very good shape, it’s not a restoration that will win a competition, but an honest job to make the car look real nice. THIS CARE IS A REAL LOOKER!!!! Everyone notices how detailed it is, and the racing decals are super nice. From what I can see, the floors look nice, and there was a repair done right under the seat bottom, but nothing is rusting through, it’s just a real clean car that needs a good home.
Engine: It looks real original, starts right up, and you don’t even need the choke, no smoke, just a nice Austin Healey 4 cylinder.
Interior: Real clean, nothing is broken, the seats were redone, that was quite expensive.
EXTRAS: The hard top and hardware is included, it needs to be refurbished, but these hard tops are rare and EXPENSIVE. You also get all the “new” and spare parts the previous owner gave me, in parts alone there is well over 2K!!!!
NOTE on Clutch: The clutch and/or cylinder needs to be bled, if you are familiar with these cars you know what I mean, there is a thing that happens when you press down on the clutch and it comes back up slowly. A skilled mechanic can easily fix this issue and then the car is completely drivable. BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP! |
