Please read this ad carefully and examine the pictures carefully. If you have any questions at all. or need close up pictures of the car. please ask before bidding. I want to describe the car as accurately as possible. with full disclosure. I have many more pictures of the car that are not pictured here. BRIEF SUMMARY: This is a 1959 Austin Healey BN6 project car. It will need a FULL restoration. It is currently equipped with a Ford 289 V8 engine and 3 speed manual transmission out of a Mustang. The rear axle is from an MGB. It is only good for rolling the car around on. TITLE: This car was last registered in 1977 in Georgia. It has not been on the road since the 1970's. Georgia did not have titles when this car was last registered. The last notarized registration will come with the car. as well as a current bill of sale from me to you. I do not have a title to the vehicle. since it did not have one when last registered. I called GA and TX DMV and they have no record of the VIN in their system. it has been too long since it was last registered. You will need to contact your state's DMV to ask what it will take to register the car. Please do this before bidding. BODY / FRAME: This car has body damage from being bumped into while in storage. It will need body work. Please look at the pictures carefully. The exterior of the car has minimal rust through. The floor boards have a small amount rust through. but the trunk and quarters are solid. Its not a rust bucket at all. but repairs will need to be made. The car is structurally sound. I could not located any rust in the frame or structural areas. INTERIOR: I do not have seats for the car. All interior pieces are pictured. ENGINE / DRIVETRAIN: The engine is a 1960s Mustang 289 V8 with 3 speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts. but engine doesn't turn over. It will need to be rebuilt or replaced. The conversion was done in the 70's and appears to have been a clean swap. In other words. the car wasn't cut to pieces to convert it over. If you want to return the car back to an Austin Healey 6. I feel it would not be hard to do from a fabrication stand point. The engine mounts that were added to the car are pictured. I do not have any of the original drivetrain. MISCELLANEOUS: An aftermarket hard top does come with the car. It will need fiberglass work to be useable again. I have pictures of the rest of the parts that come with the car. eBay only allowed 24 pictures. SHIPPING: It is imperative you tell your shipping company that the vehicle does not run and does not stop. Not all shipping companies will move a vehicle that isn't 100% operational. I will help the shipper load the car on their trailer if they do not have a winch. All loose parts that come with the car will be carefully packed in the trunk. PAYMENT: A non-refundable $500 dollar deposit is due within 48 hours. unless car is paid for in full before then. I will accept cash. cashiers check. postal money order. wire transfer or personal check. It will require plenty of work. but the important thing is the car is structurally sound and you won't spend a fortune in rust repair. ***
