Description of 1993 Cadillac Allante Convertible |
The Cadillac Allanté Pininfarina is a two-door, two-seater roadster marketed by Cadillac from 1986 until 1993, with roughly 21,000 units built over a seven-year production run. Offered today is a very nice example of a 1993 Allante' in Polo Green with saddle interior. Only 74k miles on this car, produced in June of 93. If it needs anything, this car needs to be driven and enjoyed! The Polo Green paint was introduced in 93, and you don't see them very often. This car has all the options. Power seats, power windows, digital dash, automatic convertible top, electric pull down motors for the back of the convertible top, as well as both sides of the front (by the windshield) cruise control and what could be considered one of the best brake systems in any automobile! Of course the air conditioning blows cold. This car runs like a dream, rides like a dream and all accessories work as they should. For its final model year, Allanté received the 4.6L (280.7cuin) Northstar DOHC V8 engine. This engine was rated at 295hp (220kW) at 5600rpm. Torque output was 290ft·lb (390N·m) at 4400rpm. A new unequal-length control arm rear suspension, was also introduced that year. Also new for the small Cadillacs was Road Sensing Suspension, an active damper management system, and revised disc brakes. The 93 will hold the road, yet give you a smooth, comfortable ride. Far superior to the Allante l and better than the other Allante ll's This Allante being offered today is one of the very last Allantes to be produced. The production date in the door jam states 6/93. The last Allante built was flown from Turin, Italy on July 2, 1993, and completed at Detroit-Hamtramck 14 days later. Production officially ended on July 16, 1993. This is a very nice example of the Own a piece of automotive history today! Car can be seen at Quinn's Quality Cars. Please call to test drive. This car has a clean Florida title.
