Description of 1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1949 Chevy Advance Design 3800. Short wheel base (RARE). Flat bed with wood bunks. Dually. Story I got when I bought her in Kansas was that she was a fire truck until a few years ago when it was purchased and the flat bed installed. I drove her home 50 miles last summer. Top speed is 44MPH! Floor starter. New dual exhaust....sounds mean with the 6 cyl. No power anything, hat includes brakes or steering. Clear coat is peeling.
Look at the pictures, he isn't perfect. Holes in floor board. Needs wiper work. No headliner. Needs door skins. I bought it as a father/son project but we are working on another and we have lost interest. It would be a shame to rat rod, ut it would make a good one.Have 3 spare transmissions that go with it and I don't know how good they are. A spare 235 engine that needs rebuilt. A spare starter and lots of little parts.
It needs wiring work done. I put new lights in it this last fall and I burned a wire off of the starter..... The truck runs like a top, ut the starter might need re-wound after the wiring is checked. Needs a battery. Will need to be loaded onto a trailer / roll-back. If you are worried about it, can turn the motor by hand in a video for you, ut before she runs, omeone better than me should work on the wiring.
