Description of 1965 Chevrolet Corvette

up for auction is my prostreet corvette stingray. car was completed last year after a 2 year build.
it has a year of car show miles on it. i put down a thousand miles but doubt it has close to that.
This vehicle was built to be a true pro street car. the engine is a 582 ci dart engine built by ultra tech racing engines. it is 9.7 to 1 compression and was built to run on 93 octane pump gas. it has dart pro1 heads, crane roller cam with 650 lift and 650 duration. valves are manley 2.3intake and 1.88 exhaust. it was originally a carburated setup but this past winter i change it over to a holley sequential fire fuel injected setup. Has an aeromotive fuel pump built into the 15 gallon tank. engine made 720 hp on pump gas. all this can be verified by Norm the owner at ultra tech racing engines in osceola indiana.
transmission is an abruzzi turbo 400 with a reverse manual valve body, trans brake and a jw ultrabell. this is an automatic trans but it has a manual valve body which means you have to shift it but has no clutch.
rear end is a fab 9 built by us12 speed and customs in new buffalo michigan. has 3.70 gears which are very road friendl, also has a mosier 30 spline axles and a spool setup
chassis is a 25.1 sfi chassis by us12 speed and customs. chassis is exception in every way. this is a moly chassis fully tigged with perfect welds. and powder coated. with a strange strut front end and a 4 link rear. very road friendly and has a great suspension under it.
brakes are strange up front and wilwood disc on the rear with 14" rotors
interior is custom aluminum covered in high grade gray leather, interior has been sealed and easily cleaned. the stingray between the tubs was bead rolled into the metal, the tubs are carbon fiber and there is a fire supression system on board. all guages are easily read and work with no issues except for the speedo which works intermittently. im guessing a bad connection but damned if i can find it.
all paint and body was done by myself at Johns autobody. i have been in business for 20+ years and specialize in vettes and vipers. hood was raised1.5 inches to accomodate the engin, but does not restrict your view in any way and has unique and tastefull artwork on it, the window openings were closed up so i could run the original glass but not have the gaudy chrome trim. gas fill was removed and a custom aluminum setup was installed. I also went with wider fenders and raised the upper wheels wells to accomodate the massive 20" rims.
if your an internet person google search "john pardy corvette" to view all the articles that have been done on the car. it took best prostreet car at the 2015 detroit auto rama and has been the feature car at several other car shows. but make no mistake this is no trailer queen, i drive this car and the feedback is unbelievable. it runs about 195 to 205 degrees in the summer michigan weather, but has no a/c so i mainly drive it on days under 80 degrees. there were no punched pulled and no expense spared on this car. ive spent over 130k on this build and as much as i love this car its time for the next project. ive used this car to promote my body shop. feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. also I am 5'5 and the car was built to fit me like a glov, if your any taller than 5'7 you will need to move the pedals or seat or both. these cars have very small interiors to start with.
