Description of 1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 K-30 (1Ton)

Five years in the making. dad. son project. Now we are selling. One of the cleanest. nicest. still very well kept inside warm garage. All work documented with pictures and receipts. investment is still unmatched for this type truck including initial truck purchase. hand selected through National Forestry Division. (no assigned depot). Truck was never rusted (or rusty) nor has any sheet metal been hammered. replaced (all original). Now for what we did for comfort ! Lights all replaced with stock latest greatest high performance Sylvania's. including a set of nice not to over-sized front 4" HID's and a corn belt sealed tractor HID under bumper rear light. -factory rear cab cargo light was also installed. Doors insulated inside the skins for heat. engine. road noise control. this includes firewall-all old out new in down to new jute padding. power lock added(factory flex conduit added for wiring) just to pass. door for wife. Hinge pins and one new hinge. wanted it just right for body lines. Seat is perfect. including belts and latches. seat belt light works as should. Seat cover is also custom made for this truck 300. 00 to help with summer heat(camo pattern) Stereo. all JL. kenwood headunit with Bluetooth and streaming(excelon) Sub box built by me with correct air displacement (didn't want to move seat like all installers wanted me to do for there prefab boxes. nothing over kill (1) 10" Memphis. nice rich sound for 52 year old guy who likes it clear and crisp. 25 watts total. A/C by Vintage-Air with all modern controls. heat is also part of the vintage system. all vents where addressed on install. 100hrs by myself every screw. bolt had attention given. stainless when needed. all panels are in place as should be. Control panel for this ac is stock era look supplied by vintage air. All hoses where custom made locally to keep all engine bay neat and accessible. This truck has not been chopped up for these installs. my father in law is retired machinist with shop or this project would not be as is. That alone will speak for attention to detail. Engine bay is a piece. electric dual fans by flex-a-lite (stock set up goes with it. no cutting was done) for A/C--- all automatic--- no turning off and on needed. ; engine oil cooler by B&M no barb fittings all AN stuff from block(oem lines go with truck all can be put back stock if desired). Four mechanical gauges. trans temp. oil temp. water temp. oil pressure (no idiot lights were disconnected or damaged all functional as well) Two of the gauges have there own manifolds for a true reading not a in the pan reading as most senders provide. -----------There are so many stock parts replaced I can't list and get it right. so if serious I tell and show pic and receipt. this is not an old project we finished in May of 2013. we have driven the truck the whole time. always driven for a while between up grades. nbsp;total miles driven after complete 16. 00 approx. odometer is now on 43. and a few. vacuum pump new. alternators new. radiator tested while out and some polished out to brass color. hoses belts. wiring has even been wiped clean. all single "0" battery cables replaced all the way down to starter and between batteries. Dielectric grease in all connections. Winter engine cover for grille(vendor in NY makes them custom). including engine block heaterFold down Goose neck. Bumper frame hitch. Tonneau cover. no snaps kind( can remove no holes drilled) bed matDifferentials were taken apart and re sealed inside and out. sway bar bushings. frame bushings. spring eye bushings all now greaseable. front leafs new(oem) new u-joints and shaft balanced. adjustable mod. valve in transmission. deep pan with cooler installed. transfer case shift pads replaced and resealed. All mounts upgraded to poly. engine oem motor mounts but used original clams. new was thin gauge. Wheels sand blasted. trued. powder coated. with load range E tires. all stock There are five matching wheels and tires all correct time era dated(tires unaroyle) I missed a lot but its there to see. ask any questions. clear TN title. pick up or I'll ship for fee. This is a very high end piece. so I'll list some more things that have been completely replaced. Brakes. Drums. Calipers. pads. hydraulic hoses. 4x4 works perfect (seals on all input. output shafts). custom aluminum mud guards. water pump. power steering(hoses as well) pump. new oem stanadyn filter housing with the heater no one can get (military depot with friends:: NOS) Starter . I have about 60 glow plugs that go. 4 controller cards. Steering gear box sent to Texas(I wanted mine back) to address leak. Steering gear frame brace from ORDesign. Custom under engine bug screen(hayfield seeds got on the hood insulation) 5 Autometer gauges Z series including RPM on custom made pivot top left pillar. 2v cab aux. 12v rear aux. Cut and sewed cotton blanket for the floor(above new rubber mat below high ridge floor mats by huskie. Blilstein shocks on all four corners. synthetic gear oil both differentials. washer bottle(rebuilt that pump in wiper motor for that) New Smoked tinted windshield. all weather striping including the vent windows no one likes to do. Exterior paint from that company in Texas. All acess. power is taking from a 100amp fused service under seat(no splicing. jerry rigging) all accessories have there own lighted switch panel from RV company. Custom made holder for that panel done here out of site down by driver seat outer edge. I did "my" best so it all look normal and not an add on(no shoddy work "Whole" look very professionally done) Including custom built cab steps(not the ones bolted on cab but full frame) THIS TRUCK HAD TO BE SMOOTH.
