BRIEF DESCRIPTION: TOTAL SURVIVOR and by that I mean, its not been modded ever and other then the 1 repaint back in the 70s, its a nice original car thats been in AZ most of its life. Would be coolIf you restored the interior and get it running and see how it goes ! Key is missing but rest of the car seems very complete. Check back later in the week to see if I get it running etc. Even if its just on starting fluid. Check out the pics and more info below...thanks
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers.
DRIVETRAIN: the car seems to still have its orginal 6 cyl and very complete under the hood/trunk. Im trying to get a key made for it this week to be able to try and start it the correct way. The factory Turbo option coupe makes for a really rare car.The 4 spd is a great touch too.
INTERIOR: take a look, Az has done a great job drying out all the interior etc. Looks good, but the vinyl is a little hard from the heat. Factory radio in dash, and lots of chrome inside actually not too bad. Gauges and cluster in nice shape. Factory tach is cool. Spare tire is missing. EXTERIOR:the body amazingly straight for its age, the car had a repaint back in the 80s original color.Stainless in good shape, chrome isnt too bad. Doors all open and close fine, and glass all looks good and original. Some pitting on the outter chrome and surface rust. No rot or major rust on the body or floors. Windshield is cracked, rest of the glass is good.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original for its age. Its not restored, but probably be okay with a little resto on the bushings etc. No way to tell exactly what it may need without getting it on a rack or driving it. Hope for the best but maybe expect the worst. Chances are its not bad. Car rolls and steers fine, but at the time, no brakes. Nothing seems to be missing at least. Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
There you have it, probably The BEST represented Vairs Shows you all the good as well as any bad. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics. Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you. If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER with great pics to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping.
