Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This is a true X77 Z28 that features the Matching Numbers DZ 302 Engine and has had a complete Rotisserie Restoration. We have pictures of this car before and during the resto along with the original Window Sticker and Deal Sheet from Taylor Chevrolet in Lancaster Ohio. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Z/28. From the moment you walk up on this Camaro there's no denying it's one of the highest Quality Chevy's in the in Country. The body is straight as an arrow and all the gaps and panel fit are as close to perfect as you will find. It's covered in the Lemans Blue paint which is the factory option for it and it's accented by the White Stripes. When the restoration was done, the paint was upgraded to the Base Coat Clear Coat that has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine that's slick as a ribbon. All the Chrome and Stainless on this car was either replaced or clean and polished to a like new finish. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15" Rallyes with the Top Hats and Goodyear Wide Tread GT Tires.
Next, we will look on the inside of this Camaro. The interior is done in Black with Bucket Seats which is also the factory option. All the seat covers are like new and the carpet, headliner, and door panels all appear to have been replaced at the time of Resto. Looking at the dash you will notice it's all in great condition as along with the Dash pad and Gauges. The Speedo and Gas gauge are working as they should and even the factory style radio is working. In the trunk it has an amazing detail as well and has the Spare, Jack, and Trunk Liner.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of this Chevy. Under the hood it features the Matching Numbers DZ 302 Engine that's set up with the correct Winters Intake 3932472 and Holley Carb 3923289 DZ. It's dressed with the correct Valve Covers and Breather that Seals to the Cowl Hood. The detail is phenomenal as everything looks just like it would have when new in '69 with even the correct markings. This car does have the Power Brakes with Disc on the Front and Drums in the rear. For exhaust it has the correct 3946826 and 3942527 Manifolds with Dual Pipes and the stock style Muffler. The 302 is mated to the Muncie Four Speed Trans and the 12 Bolt Posi rear end with 3.55 Gears. When you look under this Z28 you'll notice the exceptional job they did during the rotisserie restoration. All the metal appears rock solid from the floors to the frame and rockers. Under the front new ball joints and bushings were installed along with new Control Arm Bushings front and rear. New body bushings were installed along with a new gas tank, fuel lines and brake lines.
