Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 CHROME AND STAINLESS |
Here is a real nice, custom PPG base coat/ clear coat midnight metallic grey, 1957 chevy Bel Air for sale. 350 engine and muncie 4 speed trans. Power steering, Power slotted disc brakes with ceramic pads, 2 inch drop spindles for better handling as well as for that stance. KYB gas adjust shocks, new ball joints, 15 inch radials on American racing rims. 6 way power, heated leather bucket seats from an SS monte carlo that are so comfortable. All new wiring throughout, 1 wire 100 amp chrome alternator, new starter, custom gas tank with new lines. This car features coil over shocks in back that connect to a new shock crossmember the way chevy should have done in the begining. The back brakes have been treated with new wheel cylinders, return springs, and 2 brand new drums from centric that utilize semi metallic brake shoes. The car stops on a dime. A small cam, headers, aluminum intake manifold and a re worked quadrajet take this car down the road quickly, reliably, and noticeably with a low rumble that comes out of the dual exhaust which is not to loud, but lets everyone know YOU have a hot rod. I have driven it everywhere and so the engine bay needs re detailed ( cleaned and painted) All windows and chrome are nice and it runs great. BILL On May-01-19 at 12:56:35 PDT, seller added the following information: The windshield was changed out in favor of modern safety glass, tinted. Both front and back window gaskets were replaced, as well as both doors and trunk seals. Reliability was the main goal in this build so a top of the line Griffin Ice aluminum radiator with its matching shroud was installed, never a problem. I put in a new hays clutch, New trans mounts, poly bushings in the leafs, and relocated the battery in the trunk. Soundproof insulation under the new carpet, New gauges. -- 800 MILES SINCE THE BUILD -- In the sunlight you can really see the prism micro flake in the paint |
