Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala |
1964 Chevrolet Impala. Here is your chance to pickup a classic car project! 305 4.3L fuel injected V8 with 4L60E from a 1995 Caprice. Have owned the car for 25 years and has been off the road longer. This is a great classic car to restore as they make almost every part for them and when completed are worth good money. Frame has been replaced with a clean frame from a southern 62 Impala and all body mount hardware replaced. Painless Wire harness with relays and fuses, 1995 Caprice Computer tuned, newer heavy duty radiator and electric cooling fans, brakes replaced, Optispark distributorreplaced, new battery. I have most of the original interior and outside moldings. Car has straight body panels but will need floor and trunk pans patched/replaced, inside rockers need to be replaced, lower quarters need patch, and driver side rear wheel well will need to be patched. Passenger side inside rocker rust has been cut out and I planned to use steal box tubing for inside rocker but had no time to complete it. Outside rockers are in good condition. Car does need work but a nice project car. If I had the space and the time I would be keeping the car. Car will be sold with brand new front fenders, brand new inner fenders, brand new hood, and brand new fender hardware all still in the box from Classic Industries. It will also have the original fenders and hood sold with it so you can sell them on Ebay if you wish. They are not in bad shape just wanted new panels instead of patching them. Engine starts right up but smokes due to sitting for so long might need work. Motor was for mock up as I was planing to install a 350 LT1 from a 1995 Caprice when completed. This car sold as is, no warranty, buyer is responsible for shipping and or pickup fees. $500 deposit due 48 hours after auctionlisting ends. Balance due within 7 days ofauctionlisting endingor the car goes back up for sale. Car drove a short distance a few months back but now will need to be towed due to disassembly. Up for sale locally. I reserve the right to end listing/auction if sold locally before the listing/auction ends. I will sign the title once I have the funds deposited. I accept Pay Pal, Cashiers check, or Cash at the bank. No BS please and thank you. |
