Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 C10

Amazing California Patina one owner truck. Rare Highlander interior with a ton of options! Run is as is, or it would be the perfect candidate for a Short Bed conversion.
We just picked up this truck from the original family. It had been sitting for years after the owner had passed away. We color sanded the paint to bring out the patina, reconditioned the wheels and put some new vintage tires on it. We also did a full service so it is ready to go.

Exterior:The trucks original paint has been baked in the California sun to perfection, you can't recreate this incredible patina. We color sanded the truck so if you want to preserve the patina you could have it clear coated. The wheels were reconditioned and a new set of vintage tires were installed. The chrome shines nice and the grille is in excellent shape. The truck is rock solid with only two very small spots that are rusted through on the lower front fenders.
Interior:The interior is in excellent shape with very little wear. The original seat is in great shape with only one small part on the top that is split that could be easily repaired. The carpet, dash and door panels are also in really great shape. The rockers and floors are as solid as you can get and the paint underneath the carpet looks new. It has AC that works (gets cool, but could use a recharge), as does all of the gauges etc. It also has a rare option tilt wheel.
Mechanical:After the fuel was flushed from the tank the truck started right up and sounded great, although we did a full service. We replaced the fuel pump, water pump, belts, hoses, installed new shocks, serviced the transmission and bled the brakes. It shows about 62K on the odometer and I would have to say that is the original miles based upon how clean the interior is and how great it runs. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere and daily drive it without a worry.
The only thing the truck needs is a new wood floor for the bed. As we know that someone might buy this truck to make into a short bed, we decided to leave the bed as is.
