Description of 1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups

This 1951 Chevy Pickup custom is no ordinary pickup; in fact it's no ordinary classic! It presents as well or even better than it does in pictures and is absolutely PERFECT! It's a stunning build that's sure to capture attention wherever you take it - and it's built to drive and built to show.

Starting with the exterior, you'll notice the unique, but very fitting, frost beige paint. The finish is absolutely flawless and has a shine that seems like it's a mile deep. The paint is laid over a 3 1/2 inch chopped top that gives this truck the perfect classic look. From the front, you'll notice custom, French cut headlights. And out back, there's a beautifully finished oak bed, hiding a custom fuel cell with through-bed access. In addition, the cab features shaved door handles, with electronic actuators to gain access to the cab.

The interior is probably our favorite part of the truck. The bench has been upholstered in classic mocha leather (that's the softest leather we think we've ever felt). That bench is complemented by matching headliner and door cards that really bring the whole truck together. From there, the motif of custom design continues, with almost every interior switch tactfully tucked away. The interior also features a custom steering wheel, classic gauges, and ice cold a/c for those warm southern afternoons. The interior work was done locally by our friends at TJ's Trim Shop - Jerry puts out some excellent work!

As much as we love the exterior and interior of this truck, mechanically, it's no slouch either. For the powerplant, it features a 350 ci GM engine that's been bored .0030 over. It also features a Turbo 350 transmission, mated to a GM 10 bolt rear end. From a suspension perspective, the front end is sitting on a Mustang II subframe, and the unit has plenty of stopping power from it's upgraded four wheel disc brakes.

The craftsmanship, build quality, and custom details of this '51 Chevy are second to none. Just imagine yourself in it, cruising up and down the strip! We know you'll be as impressed as we are when you see it. Contact us today for your personal showing of this handsome '51 Chevy Custom Pickup. http://soddyspeed.com; (423) 667-8560.
