1992 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in as close to perfect as I can imagine. Two owners, 20 years and 7 years, I would be third owner. 7 years of service records, everything original and stock except the gun racks a spot light off the drivers window, and a professionally installed metal collar around the steering column where the key goes in. (my gardening friend that sold it to me is older than I am and now wants a minivan, but told me someone did break out the passenger side window 6 months ago, but the truck was not stolen). It's what I'd call immaculate, but not perfect, and I've tried to show the flaws in the pictures-- the grill has some crinkling silver on top bar, the plastic around bottom of windows is brittle and cracked, the dash has a crack, the bed rails have some gunk on them from a previous rack of some kind, the temperature gauge doesn't work, there's an oily fluid stain on my carport every morning as big a round as an orange, some normal scratches in the bed but no rust, and the seat needs to be recovered. Other than that it would be nearly show room, on small door-ding on the passenger side, at the top of the bed. All work was done at a professional mechanic shop she trusted, so I have all receipts for the last 7 years. The A/C works well, very cold. (records show much of it was replaced and upgraded to new freon in 2018).The power windows and door locks work good. (window motors and stuff fixed in 2017)The transmission fluid and filter changed in 2016? (my mechanic said everything was working as should, no problems. The radio works but the cassette player does not work.I bought it Thursday, took it to a car wash, waxed it a bit on hood and top, took it to my mechanic at my farm and hand an oil change done with 5-30 mobil 1. Hey said the spark plugs and wires looked rather new and of high quality, air filter was very clean, all fluids full, tires are relatively new, and it runs smoothly and quietly. He took it for a test drive up and down the road and said it had great power and there was not another thing it needed- "that's an amazing truck, a real find-- keep the oil changed on it and you should get another 200,000 miles out of it". I gotten lots of looks and 'great truck' comments, but at the garden yesterday I got the feeling a guy was there to steal it, so I'm a 58 year old woman and even though this is the PERFECT truck for me (it's low enough that I can reach in and out of the bed for plants and shovel) I don't want to worry about it getting stolen because I just don't want criminals having any reason to come to my house . So if I can get back the money I paid for it, perhaps a little extra, I am willing to let it go to someone that can keep it safe and cherish it. If you want any more specific pictures or have any questions, just ask. I don't know anything about shipping, but if you arrange it and pay for it, I will be here to meet them and send them on their way with the keys, service records, and owner's manual. I have to wait for the title to come back in my name from the state of Tennessee, but I will take a picture of the odometer and not drive it until you can come for it, within a week of me getting it. Any problems like somebody breaking out a window trying to steal it during that time of it being parked in my carport I will have fixed or pay you the money it would have cost me to have it fixed. If when you come to see it you don't like it, I will give you your money back, all except deposit, and let you out of the deal. So make sure you understand that if you want out of this deal for any reason within 7 days of the close of this auction, I will not give the deposit back but I will let you out of the deal and give you any money you have paid back beyone the deposit, 'no sale'. Also, all checks and money must clear my bank before you can take the truck and title. Be a sincere and honest person that loves and has an honorable plan for this truck, no foolishness or scams, please.
