Description of 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Restomod |
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle takes upgraded V8 power, a sports suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and custom A/C interior and wraps it all one of the coolest two-tone you've seen. So while all these coupes are an icon of the muscle car era, this one also stands out for being a true one-of-a-kind. The '70 Chevelle body was one of the best designs around, and this is only amplified by the full custom appearance. Black and red muscle cars are usually the meanest around, and so this one utilizes a quality application of both. And then the attitude is turned way up by a silver dividing line. This stripe not only draws added attention to the Chevelle's best curves, but the graphics on the rear fenders also make sure to announce that this a true unique and custom coupe. This whole package was cleared over just to make sure the sunlight rolls evenly across the body as you roll down the street on a Saturday evening. It goes for a modern look with the painted bumpers, painted grille, deleted badging, and 17-inch Body Coddington alloys. And the deeply tinted windows are perfect to go with the black upper section. But there's also all the right vintage performance pieces, too, like the hood pins and cowl induction hood so that we all know this custom Chevelle remains one mean machine. The interior is a custom setup that nicely mixes performance and comfort. It starts with a pair of high-back Procar bucket seats. They have a cool gray and black presentation that's repeated on the black dash and sports steering wheel with grey leather grip. A B&M floor shifter, polished tilt column, and a full set of professional-grade AutoMeter Ultra-Lite gauges give this a very driver-oriented setup. But this custom coupe is also about comfort and style. There are cool details, like the custom door panels and the subwoofer enclosure in the trunk follow the exterior's color theme. And there are great upgraded like an AM/FM/CD stereo and air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a. The black upper section paint retuned in the engine bay, and so your attention really gets pulled to all that shining polished heart in the middle. While you can tell they spent a ton on style, this V8 also has a ton of substance. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor, which means you get big block style displacement in a small block weight. It's built with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock 800 CFM four-barrel carburetor, upgraded intake, and Doug's long tube headers. It even has the right supporting components like dual electric fans and upgraded pulleys. The mighty V8 feeds a Hughes Performance TH350 three-speed automatic transmission w/2800 RPM stall. This feeds a stout 12-bolt rear end with LPW Ultimate cover. There's a Global West tubular A-arm front suspension, and the rear reinforces the boxed four-link with ladder bars. You also have Baer drilled & slotted four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and the grip of modern performance tires. This is a quality build that even comes with receipts for over about $8,500 in recent investments. This is the classic Chevelle done for true power and distinction, so you know you need to get your hands on it right now. Call today!!! |
