Description of 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

I have a 1973 Corvette Stingray Convertible for sale. I bought the Vette from the original owners a few months ago. The car had been moved from storage unit to storage unit in 3 states as the son was trying to slowly restore the car. He was accepted to medical school and reluctantly had to let it go. The car is all original with matching numbers. The original motor. trans. suspension. front end. brakes. steering and rear end have all been professionally rebuilt and documented with receipts. The body bushings have been replaced and the underside of the car looks new. The frame and birdcage appear to be in great shape. The L48 motor was given an L82 upgrade and runs great. The original owner spent hundreds of dollars replacing the pot metal bolts with stainless steel. The car came with PS. PDB. AC. AM/FM RADIO. TURBO HYDRAMATIC TRANS. RALLEY WHEELS and POSI TRACTION REAR. It also came with both the hard and soft tops. The hard top is in good shape outside but needs the padding on the inside. The soft top will need to be replace. It is color code 980/ Orange with 418/ Dark Saddle Interior and has all of it's original body panels in tact. The body is in overall excellent condition with only a few minor stress cracks. The car has had one repaint and is due for another. The paint and soft top are pretty much all that is left to do on this car. The interior is now like new with the following items replaced. seats. carpet. sound deadener. storage doors and hardware. door panels. console. header. pillar pads and trim screws. The 3 piece dash was in good shape so I kept it and refinished the original gage cluster and shifter plate. The original seat frames were restored before the new padding and covers were installed. The original window rollers and components were cleaned and aligned. The car is super tight with the top down and has no rattles. This is a great classic Vette that has been reborn and only lacks a few things to be show quality. The current list of receipts now total over 20k and i'll list some of the items that have been done. REBUILT ENGINEREBUILT ORIGINAL QUADRAJET CARBREBUILT TRANSMISSIONREBUILT REAR ENDREBUILT SUSPENSION AND STEERINGNEW BRAKES AND BRAKE BOOSTERNEW BFG TIRES AND ALIGNMENTENGINE COMPONENTS. HOSES AND WIRINGENGINE COMPARTMENTGAS TANK. FUEL FLOAT AND SENSORNEW COMPLETE EXHAUSTFRONT NOSE PIECENEW INTERIOR ( see above )NEW CUSTOM SOUND STEREO AND SPEAKERS THAT LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINALSAs i mentioned this car is almost there and only needs paint and few minor things to be completed. The AC compressor works but the blower fan is not working so i'm getting around to that and the mechanical tachometer is not working. The car idles a little rough on cold starts but warms up and drives fine so the choke needs a minor adjustment. Text or call me at 803-466-4968 if you have any questions and i'll try and get more pics up soon. I also have the owners manual. several books. receipts and pictures of the car during some of the restoration process.
