Description of 1933 Chrysler Other Royal 8 4 door Sedan |
1933 Chrysler Royal 8 Car is ALL STEEL ORIGINAL body panels. Started it's life as a South Carolina car. In 1961 it was completely disassembled shipped out to California where it sat in the previous owners business warehouse for years. After hounding his business partner for years to sell him the car it finally came into his possession in 1989. It sat in pieces until 1999 when the owner planned to do a complete factory rebuild. Well that turned into the creation of a very rare type of hot rod. It was completed in 2004 and has remained since. Only modification to thisbuild was an engine replacement in Nov 2015 to a "built to drive" 318 Magnum that was masterfully put together by Jesse Robinson of SKMFX Engines in Alexandrea ON. The 318 runs on 87 octane pump gas, has 19 inches of idle vacuum and produced 359HP and 383 ft/lbs of torque (I have all the dyno sheets on the engine) I also added a period correct lockable trunk that is mounted to the factory luggage rack. Pinstriping enhancements were done by "Mac the Knife", one of the premier pinstripers in the Northeast.
