Recent ground up restoration/resto-mod with about 1000 miles on it. Started with a virtually rust free body, although there was minor rust in the floors. Everything was completely disassembled for paint, the body was stripped to bare metal, frame connectors were added and new floors welded in. Engine & transmission are from a 1998 Trans Am, it retains the factory wiring harness and computer (computer was re-flashed to optimize this set up), and has a new aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Rear end has been upgraded to a R-200 and CV axles from a 280 Turbo Z. The interior has new carpet and all surfaces recovered with new vinyl, it has Mazda RX8 power leather seats, these seats make it very comfortable for long or short trips. It has Vintage Air AC, a JVC stereo system and retains all of the factory gauges which have been made to work with the new drive train. It has the stock suspension, steering and brakes. This car is fast and a lot of fun to drive, it turns heads wherever it goes. More pictures available upon request.
