Description of 1954 Dodge Pickup Street rod

About this vehicleThis 1954 Dodge Pickup is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's Notes1954 Dodge Job Rated Truck O Matic. ( First year dodge put an automatic in a truck) Original drive train is long gone. Repowered with a 340 6 pack casting date 6/71. Motor is fresh. correct J heads carbs etc, 727 torqueflight B&M floor shifter, 8 3/4 rearend. This is just a honest, rock solid Kansas truck with zero body filler. No rust except for tailgate. I had the frame boxed. New 3” exhaust (2 into 1). All 3 carbs rebuilt, small cam, new brakes, all new brake cylinders, new master cylinder, new steering center link (no play, re cored radiator, relined original fuel cell. new battery. I had the truck and engine looked at by a local Mopar nationals judge and he gave it a thumbs up, correct heads, valves carbs etc, he was amazed at how solid the truck is. I have 14k invested in it. She Scoots. All work mechanical work and boxing of the frame was done professionally. Still has Kansas antique plates on it. I had a locator find me the truck and it was a Kansas Farm truck. Another locator found me the motor and Trans in Tuscaloosa. Had this sold on Ebay but the buyer from Utah flopped on me claiming unexpected medical issues so IDK. The truck is stored indoors in Illinois zip is 60707. I will cooperate with a shipper if that is the route a buyer wishes to take.ExteriorInteriorEngineCreated on the eBay Motors app
