A two year off frame restoration was started on this 1986 Dodge W250 Power Ram Royal SE and just completed. The bed was removed and the cab disassembled. The engine was pulled and completely rebuilt by a local engine machine shop. The rotating mass was internally balanced, new +030 TRW pistons, cam/lifters, oil pump, etc. The chassis got new: wheel & axle bearings, brakes, u-joints, all steering parts except the box, all AC parts (except evap), belts, hoses, engine mounts, cap, rotor, wires, ECU, etc. I'm sure that I am forgetting something so don't hesitate to ask for any specifics. The sheet metal was stripped and the only rust located was the rain gutter above the windshield. A new gutter section was fabricated and welded in. The roof interior was treated with ospho and zinc chromate. All dents were worked and the entire body was blocked multiple times. Epoxy primer was followed by urethane primer. Four coats of Sherwin-Williams premium base coat and clear coat were added. The final clear was cut and rubbed. All new weather strips, window runs, stoppers etc. were obtained from LMC as well as a new front bumper. The bed interior was sprayed with color matched liner. The truck runs and drives well and the AC is cold. The seat was recovered with factory vinyl and the headliner was recovered with factory cloth. The carpet was replaced. The only things left are the tailgate and dash carrier. The tailgate was bent by loading too heavily when open. It opens and closes fine but is currently being straightened. If the buyer is local the tailgate will be finished but if not will be installed back on the truck straightened but not painted. The dash carrier has multiple cracks but a new one has not been found. A carpet cover was installed from California Car Covers. Please ask any questions not covered. I will accept cash on pick up with a $1000.00 deposit via Zelle or Cashapp or a bank wire transfer.
