Due to unexpected medical bills, am forced to sell my truck. I purchased it with the intentions of making a pulling truck out of it but then decided the truck was in too good of shape for me to start hacking it up. The original owner always kept up with the maintenance on the truck and kept in in the garage for most of it's life. He did install a 2-way radio up above and it has holes drilled where the radio was mounted. It has the fuel injected 318 with 4-speed manual and 3.55 gears in the rearend. It has a Dana 60 rear and a Dana 44 up front which currently does not work due to a inoperable vacuum actuator. The front driver side knuckle also needs to be replaced. I was going to drop it and replace it with a Dana 60, hat was the plan, nyway. This truck is not perfect, t does have a couple surface spots that are starting to bubble due to me driving it last winter. Up until then, his truck had never been driven in the salt by the original owner. This would be a good candidate for someone to re-body their rusted out 1st Generation Cummins truck. Also, his truck did come from the factory with air conditioning, ut I removed the compressor as it was froze up. I did replace the water pump, oses and installed a new aluminum radiator. Rear brake lines were replaced along with wheel cylinders. It still needs the rear main seal replaced on the engine, hich I have for it along with a new oil pan gasket. I would say that the clutch will probably need to be changed as well since the rear main seal was leaking oil onto it. It still runs and drives as I recently used it to pull a car trailer loaded with a chevy astro van to the scrap yard. The driver side floor pan has a small spot that needs some attention. I have purchased a new floor pan that will go with the truck when it sells. I will post what pictures that I have and if needed, can take more pictures to show specific spots. This truck will also have an extra set of stock steel rims with used tires that came with it when I bought it.
