I have for sale my 1951 Ford Club Coupe. I purchased this car about a year ago from the second owner. He got it from an estate sale in Texas where it had been stored by the widow of the original owner since 1972. He cleaned the fuel system and got it running and proceeded to sand and paint it back to the original Ford Blue. He also replaced the rubber floor mat and the rubber trunk mat. Since I have had the car I have had a couple of freeze plugs replaced,along with new tires, ew battery, ables, nd starter. The car starts, uns, hifts, nd stops as it should. Of course it is 65 years old, ut it runs great. All the lights work as the should, ven the radio works. The clock, owever doesn't work. The previous owner's paint job looks good at about 20 foot, ut it is not a show paint job. The interior is all original except for the rubber floor mat, nd is okay for a driver, ut there are a couple of holes in the headliner. My plans for this car have been side tracked by health reasons. I have a Flathead V8 I bought to upgrade with. Not being sure of the condition, took it to my local machine shop and had it disassembled and magnafluxed. Before reassembly, ll the bearings were verified to be nearly new. The engine was put back together with new valves(the "old" ones had been ground too far), eals and gaskets. Also, had Edelbrock heads and 4 barrel manifold installed. I have a rebuilt Holley carb. I will offer this engine to the buyer of the coupe for $2500, ust what I have in it.
