The very first Mustang ever was introduced to the public at the 1964 New York World's Fair on April 17, 1964. This Mustang was presented to the public only two months later with a 289 "D" code Windsor engine. Also included was a four-on-the-floor manual transmission and a four barrel carburetor. The interior is excellent and the headliner is good. Some headliner stitches are coming loose. This Mustang had a rebuilt engine when I purchased it and I have pictures to verify the overhaul. Recently the Mustang had a rebuild of the transmission and the clutch. Also, new upper and lower control arms, ball joints and universal joints were installed. A new windshield was installed after I bought the car. The car has no visible rust and the paint is excellent. I've never driven this car over 70 mph, but at 70 I was still in third gear! It also has very good acceleration. Bid with confidence this is a great buy! Appraised value $22,500. Thanks,Bob
