This is an original 1971 Mustang Mach 1. I bought this vehicle from the original owner. South Dakota vehicle its entire life, so as such, has a lot of rust. I hadhopes of fixing it up, but as is so often the case, life/time/space/money got in the way. This is a unique Mach 1, M code, 351 4V, automatic, AC, rim blow tilt wheel, body color bumpers. Yet it has the non-blackout hood and basic interior (seats and door inserts). This car isrestorable, but needs someone with bodywork skills to get the sheet metal in order. Otherwise a good parts car for engine, trans, rear end, interior, etc. To my knowledge, the drivetrain is original but cannot guarantee that. I was told the engine was rebuilt in the mid 1990s soon before the vehicle was parked. High school parking lot bump to the rear took it out of commission in approximately 1995, and it hasn't seen the road since. It was still drivable, owners just chose to not fix it at the time, and never got back to it.Has been in covered storage for all but one year since then. Currently stored indoors in a heated garage.
