Description of 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe |
1968 Ford Mustang Couple- Project Car, I bought this car when buying another one and it is what it is. It does seem to be pretty much 100% intact interior/exterior/motor/transmission/guages/and so on. I bought locally in a set of 2 someone was selling just because I'm a vintage mustang addict and figured I'd keep the other one and sell this one but now selling both VIN#8T01T101234- Title With Vehicle ***Updated - Vin# Decode. Also included dash and driver fendor vin# in pics - Matching #'s to one another with decode of vin # below. I did order a basic Marti Report for the Car I should have by tomorrow and will update details once I get it. 8T01T1012348=68T=Assembly in Metuchen, NJ01=HardtopT=200cu V6101234 Consecutive unit #************************************************ACTUAL DECODE VIA MARTI REPORT Received Today: Serial Number 8T01T101234 8 1968 T Built at Metuchen 01 Mustang 2-Door Hardtop T 200-1V I-6 Engine 101234 Serial Number of this Ford scheduled for production at Metuchen 65A Mustang 2-Door Hardtop W Meadowlark Yellow Paint, Ford #3120-A 2A Black Vinyl Standard Bucket Seats 24H Scheduled for build August 24, 1967 13 New York DSO (District Sales Office) 4 2.83 Conventional Rear Axle W C-4 Select Shift Automatic Transmission DEALER #: 13H212 Your vehicle was equipped with the following features: - 6.95 X 14-4 Ply Rated White Sidewall Tires - Wheel Lip Moldings - Power Steering - AM Radio - Deluxe Wheel Covers Your vehicle was actually produced on August 23, 1967 -- one day ahead of schedule. ********END OF MARTI REPORT SECTION Now you know as much about the car as I do, I'm just unloading all my projects that I haven't touched in the last few years to thin out the herd ...and to keep my marital status ... as is!Since I still have a 66 GT350 clone/ 74 spitfire / 68 Bronco ...and a few others ... its just time to unload the ones I'm not ever going to get the time to do anything with. I bought this car with another 68 coupe I will also be listing on here shortly. What you see in pics is what it is, otherwise I know nothing about history or anything ... ... sold as is...where is...what is. I'll answer whatever questions I can and happy to send any additional photos you want to bidders on request but I can only include 24 here. I included a buy it now in case anyone just wants to buy it ... but again it's a no reserve auction so any bid it receives will result in the vehicle being sold ... at whatever price the auction ends at. Just included a buy-it-now to avoid the 50 repetitive questions from people asking me for a buy it now price :) Good Luck and Happy Bidding!Phil |
