1970 Mustang Fastback Classic American Muscle Car For sale is this classic 1970 Mustang Fastback painted Guardsman Blue with white Le Mans stripes. The car has a low mileage, rebuilt 351 Cleveland 2V engine that runs. Has a blown head gasket and needs a complete valve job. Left exhaust manifold is broken. It has a 4 barrel Edelbrock aluminum intake and 600 CFM Edelbrock 4V carb FMX AT and 3.00:1 gears in Ford 9" rear axle. Original factory AC, Power Steering and new tires on 15" x 7" Centerline Texas Star Aluminum Alloy wheels. It is painted classic Guardsman Blue with 2 - 11" wide Wimbledon White Le Mans stripes, making it a unique collectible, Carroll Shelby style. Paint on right side of top has clear coat coming off (see photo). Other features include: New headliner New back seat and front bucket seats on new custom foam pads and painted original Ford frames (driver's seat installed, it comes with new passenger seat cover that needs to be installed) New bumpers Mach 1 type hood-scoop on good original FOMOCO hood. Not a shaker. New windshield, weather strip and wipers New carpet set and underlay comes with the car New fuel tank and gas gauge sending unit with locking Mustang gas cap New Firestone H Rated tires on 15" x 7" Centerline Star Alloy Wheels Factory AC with all new AC hoses and rotary compressor New starter, battery and cables Dual Turbo mufflers and Shelby H-pipe on exhaust pipes All ignition with Pertronix Electronic Ignition Module for Ford V8 Power steering rebuilt with all hoses Front spoiler (black) under bumper, comes with the car The comfortable bench-style back seat makes it possible for a double date, or take the whole family for a ride in a Mustang sports car. The 1970 Mustang Fastback is also the mustang type that was the SCCA Trans Am champ driven by Parnelli Jones!
