Description of 1926 Ford Model T ROADSTER |
1926 Ford Roadster Semi gloss black paint Big Block 454 Chevy with Weiand 6-71 Blower 2 Holley supercharger carburetors Aluminum roller rockers Blower roller cam and lifters. Sounds great. Drives easy. Runs on pump gas High volume fuel pump Mallory distributor Taylor spark plug wires MSD BTM ignition box to retard timing per pound of boost Roller timing set Race damper Aluminum water pump Aluminum Griffin radiator Stainless steel fuel tank Turbo 350 transmission with shift kit B&M ratcheting shifter Adjustable ladder bar rear suspension Positraction differential Vintage RC Cola coolant overflow. I mention this because everyone always comments about it. Great fun to drive. Lots of waves when you drive it.Most of the parts used to install the blower are brand new. There is over $7000 worth of new parts on top of the engine just to add the blower with less than 500 miles. Tranny will leak a bit if it sits for a while. When I drove the car more often, I barely did. I think it is O ring or gasket Just got back from Cars and Coffee which is about 20 minutes each way so the car was a little dirty in the photos. Also noticed the passenger valve cover gasket slightly leaked. May just need tightened or simply replaced. I probably have one and can be done in 10 minutes. The car is very powerful and can get squirely if you are stupid with it. We use it to cruise around and the occasional rolling burnout. Seems like a waste to not use all that torque once in a while. |
