Description of 1986 Ford Mustang
1986 Mustang GT - COBRABuilt for the Canadian market and has the required options. Sunroof, lower body protection, block heater, Cobra badging on rear deck, speedometer in kilometers (and MPH), rear window defroster and all decals in french/EnglishThis is very correct and unmolested Mustang Fox body, these are getting hard to find now.

Brand new Cobra rims and Nitto 255 40ZR17's - Only about 250 miles on them (April 2018). Original factory wheels and tires are included.
Rear end totally rebuilt, bearings, seals, traction lock and 4.11 gears (turns 2,100RPM's at 55 with the AOD transmssion)Interior is almost flawless and 100% original. The drivers side seat bolster is fraying a bit at the seam but can be easily repaired.
Dash pad is original and no cracks or warping. Speaker holes are perfect as wellThe Cobra GT was well optioned

It had one repaint at some point and it is very high qualityFrom the photos you can see that the sides are very straight with no waves or door dingsThe car never had any body damage.
The car runs, drives, and shifts perfectly and is a pleasure to drive. No leaks or drips underneath. Everything works as it should. I have too many toys and a couple need to go. I have a lot invested and never have a chance to take it out. Only about 250 miles since spring after buying the new wheels and tires.

What does it need? Typical 1986 grey vinyl headliner, it is all shrunk and wrinkled. Fog lights need a new dash switch (common issue). Drivers door gasket is a China reproduction,these are junk and too stiff. Just need to close the door a little harder.
Paint is excellent with a few stone chips.
