IF YOU LOVE MODEL A FORD'S LIKE I DO, you might love this one. It was built by Shay in a factory, approved and sold in Ford dealerships. It looks like a 1929 Ford roadster, but has modern features. All new Ford Pinto parts were used to build the car, new engine, new transmission, new brakes and everything else. HOW IS THE TITLE? 1980, Make Model A, Body Roadster. I have title in hand, it is Virginia, signed off correctly...and the VIN plat matches. HOW IS THE BODY? Model A body parts fit, it is thick fiberglass with a metal hood. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! GAUGES WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HORN WORKS! IT HAS A HEATER! HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its a good running 4 cylinder Pinto with only 16,265 miles. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It a good shifting 4 speed manual. HOW IS THE PAINT? One repaint, the red is 1966 Mustang red, black fenders. Good paint, maybe a spec if you look for it. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Very good, it is original, but nice. HOW IS THE TOP? Very good, no holes or cracks, it is original. Some side curtains come with the car, drivers has a tear, I have never put them on, a couple don't look like they right ones. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Much, much better than a original car, it is rack and pinion steering. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? Much better than original, it is disc in front and hydraulic drums in rear, original had mechanical brakes. HOW IS THE CHROME? Grill shell looks like new, bumpers very nice, quail radiator cap looks super nice. HOW ARE THE TIRES? Plenty of tread wear left, but they are old and have some cracks. They are fine, but if your going to tour on long trips you need new ones. CAR DOES HAVE SEAT BELTS in front and in the rumble seat.
