Description of 1968 Ford Mustang |
1968 Ford Mustang project with tons of new parts. The car decodes to: Date 213J Sep 13, 1968 build date ColorT Candy Apple Red Trim2D Dark Red full vinyl seating DSO 45Davenport sales district Axle6 3:20-1 rear axle Trans1 3 speed manual F, built in Dearborn Michigan. The 200 6 engine appears complete, Iwas told it was running but I haven't gotten itstarted yet. The tires all hold air and the car rolls freely. I do have keys and they work the locks, trunk, and ignition fine. It will need complete restoration, but a great place to start! The front frame rails on this Mustang all have the typical Midwest rust in them. The rears appear to be solid yet. This is not a 'replace floor pans and paint it' project- it's a complete carin need of a fullrestoration. The good news- it comes with brand new parts including a pair of front fenders, both left and rightfull length floor pans, brand newquarter panels, both front torque boxes, front lower valance, and rear valance. Included in the trunk is also the originalfront grille, surrounding trims, headlight buckets, bumper brackets and bumperettes, and both front turn signal housings off the old valance. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE- the vin stamps on the car match the original data plate on the door, so a replacement or bonded title will need to be applied for by the buyer. Sold as is, $500 deposit to be paid within 24 hours, remainder within 7 days. Winning bidderplease contact me within 48 hrs of end of auction to discuss pick-up. I can help load the car if needed. If you have 1 or less feedback- PLEASE DON'T BID OR WASTE MY TIME. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding! |
