The 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is already a legend on its own. This is the year the factory raised the displacement, and this one even has added go-fast goodies! Plus, this has a highly correct-style presentation with plenty of original components. Even the ultra-low odometer is even believed to reflect actual mileage. So it's a true hot commodity classic with everlasting appeal.
The original generation Shelby GT350 is one of the most sought-after Mustangs around because it was never bashful about its sense of speedy style. And that only got more aggressive on the later cars, like this '68. The custom fiberglass hood, functional side scoops, spoiler rear deck lid, and the sequential taillights - it all makes an impressive statement. Plus, everyone already loves a Wimbledon White Mustang, so to have the factory-correct application updated a few years ago gives this the kind of gloss you can be proud to show off. The V8 inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it makes a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. As you follow the pipes in the undercarriage photos, you'll see a car that is both fresh and correct. The four-speed manual transmission is believed to be original to the car, and it means you're in complete control over the V8 power and muscular soundtrack. Plus, there's power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and wide Cooper Cobra tires make this snake-bitten Mustang great to drive.
