Description of 1963 International Harvester Scout 800 |
Project started with an overly nice, laser straight, and California kept 1963 International Harvester Scout 80 (complete with functioning safari windshield and is far booking/more unique than any bronco jeep or defender) then went through a thousand plus man hour professional build complete with full custom suspension, cage, built 580hp aluminum ported 6.2L LS3, tuned King 2.5 coil-overs (capable of 20”+ front and 30”+ race suspension travel), interior, and even hand-laid carbon fiber hood.Truck has all current California registration/tags/plates and is an incredibly capable machine that was never raced (or pushed on ‘non-soft’ terrain) but built for weekend fun on the dunes (which acquired 99% of its around 3k on completed build mileage highway commuting). The Scout currently has a very ‘streetable’ set-up, all current tags, relatively mild exhaust system, incredible bluetooth mp3, etc. 8-way surround sound system, would cost north of $100k to replicate, and is kept garaged in west Los Angeles. Feel free to email with any questions, offers, etc. Additional Details: Drivetrain: -Fully built 6.2L LS3 V8 with aluminum ported heads, LS7 cams, custom side exit race exhausts, complete tune, and billet intakes (Engine dyno’d 570HP/500TQ on pump gas with full synthetic changes at 500 miles) -Built GM Turbo 400 trans with 2500 RP Turbine, B&M/Billet Sparco Shifter -Built and treated ford 9” inch rear with R355Daytona locker Iron gearing -Full size aluminum race radiator (with auxiliary controlled twin race fans) with reinforced and caged bay -20 gallon aluminum racing fuel cell, braided lines, and 700hp race-output fuel system Body/suspension: -Full chromoly cage, swing arm race suspension, and full King 2.5 coilers over, 2.5 by-passes, and 2.5 adjustable billet bump stop system ( ~20” of travel in front, ~30” in rear) -Modern ford I-beam race suspension with all forged hardware fittings -Race disk brakes at all four corners with braided hoses, lines, and wilwood finishings -HID headlights, high output LED turn signals and brake lighting, and adjustable auxiliary full Rigid 70” double stack LED light bar -Custom laid full carbon fiber hood with Kartech billet pins and clips, functioning safari windshield to fold down as unique to the more rare 80 body, and custom riveted aluminum race panel doors -Rhino lined interior with arctic white exterior and deep blue finishings -Raceweight matte black pro-comp 15” wheels with brand new 33x12.5 red label general grabbers and adjustable front lockers Interior: -Flush fitted black Z06 full dash with all autometer race gauges, carbon fiber bezel, alcantara sparco wheel, and sparco billet forged shifter, race hub, and pedals -Custom carbon weave and mesh mastercraft suspension seats with rear 45” rear bench and full pro-armor 4 point racing harness (with LED lights, padding, and storage pouches) -New JVC premier (marine/water resistant) bluetooth mp3, phone, pandora, etc. streaming system with dual 6x9 5 way 300w underseat front and 135W 3way overhead rear Polk flagship speakers |
